Welcome to the Norfolk Lupus Group website. The Norfolk Lupus Group is a local branch of the naional charity, Lupus UK. and exists to provide support, information and understanding for people who are living with and learning to live with Lupus. If you'd like to help the Norfolk Lupus Group by spreading the good word, you can download a printer friendly version of our publicity poster, which would look great on any work, college, school, or club notice-board. The Lupus Open-Access Drop-In Centre is a central point where Lupus patients can pick up information and meet others who have lupus. It is held on the last Friday of every month from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm in the Rheumatology Department of the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital and is open to anyone who is suffering from lupus (or approaching a diagosis of lupus), their carers, family and friends. It is very informal, a chance to meet and talk to others about their experience of lupus over a cup of tea and a biscuit. There is usually a doctor or nurse available who can answer general questions about lupus but it is not a clinic and you will not be able to have a private consultation.
